4 eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 large sized finally chopped onion
Chopped Cilantro

Method:
1) Immerse eggs into the water and bring them to boil
2) After 10-12 minutes remove the eggs from the water and peel off the skin of the eggs and break into big chunks
3) Now in a big bowl mix mayonnaise, onions, cilantro, salt, pepper and oregano
4) Add chunks of eggs to the dressing

Tip: You can also add lettuce leafs to the salad

1/3 cup of white sugar
4 cups of cranberry juice
2 cups of unsweetened pineapple juice
3 tablespoons almond extract
2 liters of ginger ale

Method:
1) In a large jug, pour cranberry juice, pineapple juice, almond extract and ginger ale together.
2) Cool it in refrigerator for a day.

Tip: You can also add thin lime slices to the punch for a citrusy flavor.

Roasted Chicken With Herbs and Spices: This one gives a Middle Eastern twist to the classic Christmas dish that is roasted chicken. The marriage of moist chicken and spices is completely unbeatable. This one is definitely your star dish of the feast! Roasted ChickenIngredients:
1 whole chicken
4 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1 lemon
2 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

Method:
1) Clean the chicken in cold water and dry it with a paper towel.
2)  Now place it in a roasting pan.
3)  Preheat the oven at  400 degrees
4) Now in a bowl, pour oil and other dry spices like salt, cumin powder, pepper, turmeric and rosemary
5) Rub this mixture on the chicken and let the skin absorb the spices
6) Place the lemon inside the cavity
7) Place the roasting pan inside the oven and cook it uncovered for around one and half hours until a golden crust starts appearing on the top

Tip: To ensure that it’s cooked properly, check the inside temperature of the chicken which should be 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mashed Potato: A velvety mashed potato is the perfect accompaniment for any meat dish. This classic side is complete comfort food and is enjoyed by all age groups with equal gusto.Mash PotatoIngredients:
1 Kg potatoes
3/4 cup milk
5 tablespoon of butter
11/4 teaspoon of salt
Black pepper to taste
2 green chili peppers (finely chopped)
2 teaspoon garam masala
1/4 tbsp lemon juice

Method:
1) Peel the potatoes and dice it into large pieces and boil them in water
2) Once the potatoes are soft, mash them with the back side of the fork
3) At this stage, add hot milk and butter to this mishmash
4) Now add dry ingredients like salt, pepper, chilli pepper, garam masala and lemon
5) Now place this mixture in double boiler and cover it with a lid

Tip: You can also add a bit of garlic for that extra zing

Shortbread: They are the most popular items on any Christmas menuand are also probably the most loved. Shortbreads or butter biscuits are not only an ideal gifting option but will ensure your baking skills are praised by all and sundry.ShortbreadIngredients:
125 gram of butter
55 gram of caster sugar
180 gram plain flour

Method:
1) Whisk butter and sugar together until it becomes smooth
2) Heat the oven to 190C
3) Now add flour to this mixture of butter and sugar
4) Roll the paste on a hard surface and convert it into a smooth dough
5) Cut the dough into round and place it on a baking tray
6) Sprinkle some caster sugar on top of it
7) Place the breads in the chiller for about 20 minutes
8) Now bake in oven for 15-20 minutes
9) Let it cool for another 10-15 minutes

Tip: Add crushed cashews to the butter and sugar mixture for that rich experience

Turkey Rolls: No Christmas dinner is complete without this beautiful bird. A delicious twist to this protein-rich meat – the turkey tortilla wrap – is a total one-dish hero and is bound to stand out in your meal.Turkey WrapsIngredients:
1/2 Kg of sliced turkey breast
6-8 tortilla wraps
3 tablespoon Mayonnaise
1 Cup of sprouts
8 lettuce leaves
1 Onion (Chopped in rings form)
Finally chopped cilantro
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon of oil

Method:
1) In a bowl add mayonnaise and cilantro
2) Now spread this mixture on each of the tortilla wrap
3) Place two lettuce leaves on each of the tortilla wrap
4) Stack the tortilla wrap with turkey slices and place two Onion slices on top of it
5) Add sprouts on the top of the layers and sprinkle salt
6) Now fold the wrap in a manner that the fillings are enclosed within the wrap
7) Heat a skillet and grease it with a bit of oil
8) Place packed tortillas on the skillet and cook on both sides

Tip: Add any vegetable of your choice like tomato and bell pepper.

Whiskey cake: Christmas is incomplete without three things – Santa Claus, Christmas tree and cake. Now, there are gazillion ways of baking these heavenly delights but this whiskey cake is totally effortless and hassle-free. And it’s intoxicating too!Whiskey CakeIngredients:
4 eggs
1 shot glass whiskey
1 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup of coffee
2 cups honey
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 1/2 cup of fine wheat flour (Maida)
1 teaspoon of baking soda
3 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Method:
1) Beat eggs, oil, sugar, honey, vanilla and whiskey together for 5-6 minutes in a mixer
2) Sift baking soda, baking powder, flour, and salt
3) Add the flour and other ingredients to the batter in the mixer
4) Rub butter or oil on a pan and fill the pan with the cake batter
5)  Bake the cake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Tip: Add glazed cherries to cake batter for a fruity touch
